Emails

Emails are the most commonly used form of communication in businesses and organisations around the world.

Their advantage is that they can be sent to multiple recipients, thereby helping to create a common understanding of the situation. The fact that they are not more commonly used during emergencies in certain parts of the world is in part because of insufficient equipment and internet access, as well as a concern that organisational emails will be subject to post-emergency review and reporting.
