SMS text messages are immediate, familiar, and easy to use. This is why they are one of the most common and everyday means of communication. During an emergency, a danger is that they tend to be one-to-one communication and can frustrate a wider understanding of the situation.

To Create an SMS MESSage

  1. Add an SMS inject to your timeline and setup its basic details. Learn about creating injects.

  2. On the SMS Details form, enter information for this SMS message:

    • From - Who sent the message. For example, Abigail Martin.

    • Message - The content of the SMS message. For example, Things are getting crazy here…

  3. Select Confirm.

The SMS inject is created and added to the timeline.
